End of An Era

Friday 14th January 2005 marked the end of a remarkable seven years of service for Cadet Flight Sergeant Christopher Booty as he turned 20 years of age on the same night. After achieving almost everything the Air Training Corps had to offer, he has now decided to carry on his duties as a squadron staff member.

To make it an evening to remember, the twenty year old was presented with a Jack Daniels Hipflask gift set from his fellow Flight Sergeant on behalf of the squadron.

“When I first saw it, I thought it was an even bigger condom case”, said the former Flight Sergeant, a joke that could be shared by those who attended the squadron Christmas disco a month earlier.

Christopher Booty and James Kelly are now awaiting the post of Adult Sergeant on the squadron and before you know it, they’ll be back in uniform spreading some words of wisdom!
