Out with the Old and in with the New!

It's been nearly 2 years since the squadron has done a recruitment drive. Since early February this year, Mr Booty and Flight Sergeant Akhtar, assisted by the Junior NCOs and cadets have headed into 6 schools across Newham. A presentation was given to Year 8s and teachers on what we get up to in the Air Training Corps. This led up to a series of Recruit evenings starting on March 9th, established to provide basic training. Before you know it, we will have a squadron full of 'switched on cookies' and winning loads of competitions, like we used to!

Mr Booty states "There are many Newham pupils interested in the activities and skills the ATC offers".
