Cadets from all around the London & South East Region gathered at Christ Hospital School in West Sussex to take part in the Inter-Wing Soccer competition.

Cadet Sergeant Martin McDermott, Branden Quinlan and Kenneth Kirabira from the Squadron made up part of the Wing team.

London Wing faced Kent for the first match and was a bad start, losing 2-0 to Kent. Kent later went on to win the competition however London Wing won every match after and went on to take 2nd place in the Region.

Sergeant Martin McDermott had many attempts on goal but the goalkeeper proved to be a challenge to get past.

Sergeant Branden Quinlan was man of the match on many occasions and went on to being selected for the Region team. This is not a first for Sgt Quinlan and this shows that after 5 years of sporting successes, he still has it in him to get to the top.

The inter Squadron 5-a-side competition will take place in the summer. The cadets from 282 Squadron have been preparing for it and will go into the competition well prepared.
