The Squadron on average gets around 4 slots a year to fly in the RAF Grob Tutor up at RAF Wyton. Each cadet and staff gets around 30 minutes of flying with fantastic RAF pilots at the controls.

Cadets learn a great deal about flight and get to take control  and undertake aerobatic manouvers controlled by the pilots.

This sortie was special however. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was scheduled to fly past the airfield in between the Grob Tutors in the sky.

" It was a truely magnificient moment to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly past us at low level. To be in the sky with them while they flew past me sent chivers down my spine; it was a great honour" as said by Cadet Charles Hayes.
