Cadets from 282 Squadron and many others in London Wing along with Sea and Army cadets reported on Parade in Westminster to celebrate St George's Day. In addition to the National Day celebrations, the cadets were on parade to bring awareness to the 'Cadet 150' celebrations.

"It was a hot day but i was proud to represent my organisation and Country on this special day" as said by Cadet Sergeant Kirabira.

While the cadets were marching in Westminster, Cadet Sergeant Quinlan was called for a Radio Interview with BBC Radio London in Traflagar Square. Speaking about his great experiences with the Air Cadets he also spoke about the 'Cadet 150' celebrations and the various activities/events that will take place around the UK over the year.

"They even asked me to sing on the radio. I must admit it was a bit embarrassing but good fun", said by a laughing Cadet Sergeant Quinlan..

The Squadron will be taking part in many events around the Borough of Newham over the next few months to mark the 'Cadet 150' celebrations.

Keep an eye out for the TOPCREW in your local area..
