Corporal Helton Rodrigues, Kenneth Kirabira and Sarah Allen put themselves forward to attend the 'Tower Hamlets Youth & Connexions Service Staff Conference' to represent the Air Cadet Organisation in the Capital. They were tasked to give a presentation on the 'Project YOU' (Youth Organisations Uniformed) to a forum of 100 youth workers and secondary school tutors.

The Representative Deputy Lieutenant of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Commander Ludgate, wrote to the Squadron commending them on their presentation and presented each of them with a £15 gift voucher.

He went on to say "The excellent manner in which they conducted themselves and the confidence shown during their joint presentation drew significant admiration and applause..".
