Two teams of cadets from 282 squadron took part in this years Waltham Walk competition. Teams from the Army Cadets, Boys Brigade, Sea Cadets and Scouts battle it out in a demanding navigational exercise which spreads over 18 miles around the Essex countryside. Command tasks are undertaken at each checkpoint which involved racing down rivers to solving cryptic puzzles.

This year, the team which consisted of Cadets Tkachenko, Lallmamode and Elwakhery, came 4th place in their catagory. Well Done.

Unfortunately, the team led by Cpl Barnes suffered an injury which held them back, but still came 7th place out of 20 teams.

Two staff teams entered Sgt Akhtar and CI Harvey managed to come 2nd place in the Veterans catagory.
